I found this story, originally it was about starfish and a beach, but it seems to fit in with what I do, Powerful words change hearts!
A young man was walking down the street and he sees a shelter, he wanders inside to discover hundreds and hundreds of pit bulls where caged there.
He sees an old man walking up and down the isles and stopping often to stroke the heads, and take them outside for walks and viewing, he then feeds the dogs, gives them water, and takes a picture to post, in hopes that someone will come to take them home. He adds each face and story to a list he hopes to use against the corrupt system that allows these dogs to be abused and dumped, stolen from families out of fear and ignorance, in the first place.
The young man says to him “Why do you take these pictures and write their stories down? The old man said in a soft tone…., because they are abused and unloved, ripped from their families and if I don’t, they will surely all die.
The young man says “But, old man, surely you realize that there are hundreds of them, they line up for miles! You can’t possibly save them all, you can’t even save one tenth of them! In fact even if you work all day long your efforts won’t make any difference at all!”
The old man listened carefully to the young man, and then bent down to scratch another head, to pick up another bowl, take one more picture, and tell the story, and says……,
I made a difference to that one!
That ladies and gentlemen, is why I do what I do, everyday! Because if just one dog, just one life is spared, if just one moves on to know freedom and love, then it has all been worth it!
All the criticisms, all the hate mail, all the complacent acts, it has all been worth it! I wouldn’t change a thing!
With the exception hopefully, of just a few minds and hearts along the way!

If you abuse our laws, kids, the elderly, or animals, If you move to a new country and then demand that country to change everything about it's laws & way of life to suit your own agenda, If you blatantly break those laws with no regard and show no repect for them, if you engage in dog fighting or any other forms of animal abuse, torture or neglect, or if you are a pedophile, Than yes! You are on my radar for sure, and I will do EVERYTHING within my power to see you stopped and brought to justice! Furthering that goal, I have no qualms about publishing the names and faces of convicted abusers. I am not trying to change the world, I simply want to see things improve not backslide, Mostly for my children and these wonderful dogs futures! I may say things you agree with, and I may say things that you won't agree with, I may anger you, challenge you, or just plain piss you off, but in my book that's ok as long as long as it inspires some form of action on your part. This is not a popularity contest, If I have said anything about a group or person that you don't agree with please feel free to leave a comment or simply don't come back. If You have been mentioned in my blog it is for one of two reasons, you are either an advocate or you are an abuser loser, if you are the latter I could care less what you think! I value the opinions of trash about as much as I do that of a slug! Everything in print here is a matter of public record, or came from a trusted source, with that said, I am certainly willing to print both sides of any story, in an effort to be fair and always print the truth!
