FOR YOUR FAV RESCUE

Will Host an Extensive Database of All Members.

ALL MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CONTRIBUTE PHOTOS, VIDEOS, (For Dogs in Need Networking) STORIES, BLOGS, NEWS, EVENTS, FUNDRAISERS, CAMPAIGNS and MORE…

PLUS >>> We ASK ALL MEMBERS who Have Do Not Adopt – Do Not Transport and Do Not Rescue Lists to add them to the profiles and to the DNT-DNR-DNA forum database so that we can have, at all of our disposal, INSTANT ACCESS to this information that will in time prevent the tragic events that routinely happen when pups get into the wrong hands.

The Dog Rescue Association will compile, through member data contribution an EXTENSIVE *Do Not Adopt*, Do Not Transport* and *Do Not Rescue* directory.

All Full Members, who are in GOOD Standing, will have annotation on their profile noting such.

The concept is derived by the principles of operation for the Better Business Bureau so that at a glance you are able to determine if the member/entity in question is reputable.

**to the best knowledge of the association and its members, at the time**

The Dog Rescue Association Database Will Contain Detailed Listings of Transporters, Fosters, Shelters, Pounds, Rescues, Vets, Groomers, Boarding Kennels etc. to Allow Quick Access to Connect with Fellow Members.

It sounds excellent Amelia and I am glad to help you anyway I can! I will also put their link in my sidebar, please share and help this great group be a shining success! I think this will help maintain the reputations of reputable rescues that have or could otherwise be tarnished or put in question by people simply wishing to do harm, or bad mouth and organization. Kudos guys!

For anyone wishing to get any further information here is there email: thedogrescueassociation@hotmail.com

Thanks and have a great weekend everyone! stay tuned for the dog of the week, coming up next!

Bark Out Time for Kya, she needs a little help, and a lot of love!

Kya I think her video speaks for its self, she has limitless potential!

here is her story:

She came in very fearful but has made huge strides. She went home with kids once but came back for growling at them. Kids are more at ease and more active at home and that may have overwhelmed her. (Sounds to me like proper intro’s and New dog rules were not put into place) I’ve been doing remedial dog walking with her because she started to pull and dart in a way she never had before and she is once again pulling it together fast. She’s been at the shelter several months now. She deserves a chance!
Lets do all we can to share Kya and get her into her very own fur-always home!

Bark out time for my Baylee she’s on Youtube!!!!

I must first explain the channel name, My Damn Dog…, Well my daughter and I were jokingly fighting over Baylee her first night with us, Noa said “Is she my dog?” and I said “No she’s my dog.” joking obviously. Well we got on a real role over who was going to own the worlds greatest pit bull! Translation: (It’s my damn dog! No, it’s my damn dog!) We love Baylee with all our hearts so no hate mail please 🙂 I joke a lot with my kids, I teach them that there’s many things about life you have to laugh at… including yourself!

We want to see This YouTube channel succeed, to bring the public around, to show them that pit bull’s really are just like any other dog, they are capable of all the same things, success and failure! It’s the guardian/parent that shapes the dog just as they would a child!

Thank you so much everyone your support since day one is very humbling to me, my family, and yes, even Baylee. You have helped me with every post, in changing the way the rest of the world looks at Pit Bulls, bully breeds, and even the breeds who just look like pit bulls, so on behalf of Baylee I will simply say, once again, Thank You Very Much! She went from a little starved dog slated to be euthanized, a dog that looked so beat down and pathetic, even I wasn’t really ready for some of the behaviours I saw in her, so scared, so timid and untrusting of what may come next, to a dog that will not be brought down! She’s a star! She has come a long way, and still has a way to go, but she is changing everyday, becoming what I affectionately call “My Little Barnacle” Here are some pictures of Baylee the first ones are how she looked when we got her, the others are as she is today.

Love that dog!

Here are her first two YouTube videos please enjoy, like, share, comment, subscribe to the :MyDamnDog channel!

Send us video ideas, things you’d like to see. Eventually we will be doing reviews on dog food and dog related products.

We want the world to see how funny life with a pit bull can be, most of all we want to share our funny videos of the little pit bull that could with all of you!

My Damn Dog gets serenaded to sleep

My Damn Dog hates air (short)

Thanks everyone, and have a great day!

Bark Out time for Luv My Pet! I Thought this could be very usefull many in today’s uncertain economic times.

On love my pet’s site if you click on vaccines you will see two sub-headers one for cats and one for dogs. Beside the General Information  you will see

“Find a Clinic” if you click that and enter you location, it will come up with a list of vaccination clinics in your area with dates and times. How cool is that?

http://www.luvmypet.com/

and please remember that there are many states that offer free spay and neuter clinics as well research, and you can find when and where. If there are no clinics in your area consider talking to your local SPCA to see if they would consider starting one!

I am all about getting that kind of info out to the public, personally I really feel like Veterinary Care costs are ridiculously over priced, I am all for Vets making a living but most procedures are in the thousands, and not every vet will allow you to make payments, so low-cost clinics can really help those who don’t have a surplus of funds these days. So a huge Thank You to Luv My Pet for adding that to their site!
