First off I want to thank each and everyone of you that took the time to speak up for Snoopy! not all Pit Bulls are as lucky as he is, and not all of them get a second chance at life! I just reiceived word that Snoopy is free!!!!!!! he is out of impound and going home with his daddy and its all because of people like you, so please never forget the importance of sharing and getting involved! you all had a hand in Saving Snoopy! We have an EMERGENCY on our hands and we need all of the help we can get!! I have a friend that is in Florida that was walking his dog Snoopy. A woman was walking her dog at the same time and her little dog got away from her and bit Snoopy. Snoopy bit the dog back in defense and is now in a shelter and the state of Florida is deeming him a dangerous dog and wants to put him down. Snoopy’s 77 ye…ar old owner has appealed the case and the appeal is on the 25th of this month! We need an animal rights lawyer and as many people as possible to get involved to save Snoopy and return him to his senior owner! Hi Everyone. I went to check on Snoopy at Halifax Humane Society.First of all I want to say thank you for all people who called them. At first the staff did not know who Snoopy was or that he was actually there, so they wanted me to apologize for misinformation. Snoopy has a nice bed AND a blanket in his kennel. He looked fine..not marks on him at all. He does look scared and confused, he definitely wants OUT. What we need to do now is contact the City of Deltona people. The Humane Society is only holding him. I will get the contact info for who we need to contact and will post that.Halifax is a wonderful shelter. Yes, it is a kill shelter. But they are actively looking to become a no kill shelter.The staff is very caring and do a great job. The community is very involved with this shelter and there are many volunteers there that walk the dogs and such. The back room that I was taken through had tons of dog and cat food that people had donated. Every dog has bed and blanket and the kennels are very clean.So, I will now work on starting a Facebook Page for Snoopy and getting info to people. Michelle, Thank you and by all means! Please use the contact info provided by Larisa within the post we have to let our voices of support ring out for Poor Snoopy, and every single dog that is or appears to be pit bull. Any breed can bite if provoked. Thank you so much and please share this post with any like minded friends. On behalf of Snoopy and all those who have worked so hard to help him…THANKS 🙂

As pet owners we beleive vicious dog become that way though mistreatment. Snoopy does not fit the the description of a dangerous dog if he was defending himself and his master. Judiaries that label dogs vicious are probably not animal lovers to start with and have total disregard for the bonds formed by having a pet. SAVE SNOOPY, SAVE SNOOPY, SAVE SNOOPY.

I have four black labs they are very protective. I found my boy blockhead lab that was throwed out of a vehical and was beaten and abused. He was terrified he was scared of everything. I had called the humane society and they told me that with him being abused they would put him down. I just was not going to let that happen. I kept him and named him Babyboy. I worked with him and now he is the best. Its all about how you care for your animals. I myself stronly beleives that Snoopy should be placed back with his rightful owner his companion and his master. I feel he was protecting and defending himself and his daddy. My labs are just like my children. They have feelings just as we do. They have love and Joy. We protect our animals just as they protect us. I was reading in on of the comments. If it was a different type of breed of another dog this would not be happening. Look at the K-9 units we have they are there to protect and serve to what needs to be done theres really no difference with Snoopy.

Please keep me informed. This man needs Snoopy back and we need to do what we can to make that happen. My prayers are with Snoopy and his Master. GOD BLEES YOU!!!!!
