What’s next for pit bulls? What future do you see?

Everytime I talk to someone about pit bulls that hasn’t had the privilege of being in the company of one, usually they will ask me, why would you want to? My answer is always the same, because they are by nature despite what you have probably heard, one of the most loving, loyal and sedate breeds of dog there is, period, end of story.

I urge anyone, to seek out someone who has a pit bull or to spend time walking them at your local shelter, and I assure you it is an experience you will never forget!

pit bull kisses are the best! remember when your mayor, or senator asks what you think, don’t speak before you know what it is you really want to say, because if you have ever been lucky enough to spend time with a well raised pit you will know exactly what I mean! say no to breed bans and BSL!

I hope their futures are filled with long and happy lives in homes with those who know the meaning of a dogs love and devotion, and how to be worthy of it!

I envision a time when people can see past the nonsense and see the truth, that only neglected and abused dogs turn out wrong, and imagine a human deprived of love, companionship, care, and training, who would they turn out to be?

give pits a chance, see a new year with new chances that reflect the society you want your children to grow up in, I want mine to grow up in a world filled with compassion, strength, trust, and rights! a world where pit bulls and pittie crosses, staffies, and every other breed have the same rights, that’s all.

What future do you see? add a comment, or send me an email I would love to now what all the other advocates and owners out there think!

About apitome

I am a mother, a pit bull advocate, but mostly I am just like any of you, I am passionate about politics, the environment and dog advocacy. I want possitive changes within the judicial system as well. I want my children to grow up in a country where we are not told what breed of dog we can own. I want to see BSL put in the trash where it belongs! I want to see the constitution protected but not manipulated *see anything on the mosque near ground zero (USA) or changing Merry Christmas to Happy Holidays (Canada)* I am not racist in any way shape or form against any ethnic group, I do however have prejudices against bad behavior! If you abuse our laws, kids, the elderly, or animals, If you move to a new country and then demand that country to change everything about it's laws & way of life to suit your own agenda, If you blatantly break those laws with no regard and show no repect for them, if you engage in dog fighting or any other forms of animal abuse, torture or neglect, or if you are a pedophile, Than yes! You are on my radar for sure, and I will do EVERYTHING within my power to see you stopped and brought to justice! Furthering that goal, I have no qualms about publishing the names and faces of convicted abusers. I am not trying to change the world, I simply want to see things improve not backslide, Mostly for my children and these wonderful dogs futures! I may say things you agree with, and I may say things that you won't agree with, I may anger you, challenge you, or just plain piss you off, but in my book that's ok as long as long as it inspires some form of action on your part. This is not a popularity contest, If I have said anything about a group or person that you don't agree with please feel free to leave a comment or simply don't come back. If You have been mentioned in my blog it is for one of two reasons, you are either an advocate or you are an abuser loser, if you are the latter I could care less what you think! I value the opinions of trash about as much as I do that of a slug! Everything in print here is a matter of public record, or came from a trusted source, with that said, I am certainly willing to print both sides of any story, in an effort to be fair and always print the truth! Hi i live in united kingdom where sadly pitbulls r a banned breed. i do have a 2 year old staffie and he is the sweetest most gentle n playful dog ive had him since he was 10 weeks old and has been brought up with my 2 daughters and cat yet when im out wiv him people will cross the rd as they r scared of the breed and dont understand its not in the staffy nature 2 attack and its the owners that make it that way, as for pitts i like how ceaser described his pitt big daddy n that he is a dog in a pitts clothing. i would love 2 give a pitt a loving home but cant due 2 the breed being banned. dont let them ban pitbulls n take them out of loving homes.
